Top 5 Favourite Bronzers | 2017

Hey loves!

I love bronzers and I feel like my makeup look is not complete without using one! So I'm going to be showing you comparisons between my top 5 favourite bronzers.

Too Faced - Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
This bronzer smells so good I could literally eat it.. Too Faced gets me every time with their scented products and I mean what smells better than chocolate? Anyway the actual product itself is amazing too.. I originally bought the Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer but I found that it literally didn't show up on my skin at all. I do like to fake tan and I try to match my foundation to the overall colour of the rest of my body. So then I decided to pick up the Chocolate Soleil Bronzer (this is I believe considered the medium shade because they also do a Dark Chocolate Soleil Bronzer for those that have a darker skin tone). I find this bronzer applies really well to the skin and doesn't try to pick up any foundation. I also find it very pigmented so I don't have to use a lot and I find that it lasts me all day pretty much before it starts wears off.

Benefit - Hoola
This is a really natural barely there bronzer, out of my selection it is probably the bronzer that I have to build up the most but it means that once on the skin it's really natural looking. It is more on the cooler side which I don't mind even though I do usually prefer warmer tones. It lasts on my skin for a really long time and when I apply it I don't have any harsh lines or areas where it clings to my foundation. If you are someone with more pale skin Hoola will not make you look orange which is a plus!

MAC - Give Me Sun!
This is part of MAC's 'Mineralise Skinfinish Natural' line. I had always heard people going on and on about it and decided that I would go out and buy it! I always find MACs face powders to be very smooth on the skin although I had only really used a powder that matched with my skin tone before. If I'm honest when I first opened this bronzer I thought the colour was really orange looking and I thought I wouldn't be able to pull the shade off. After leaving it sitting unused for ages I decided to just give it a go and I was pleasantly surprised! It is definitely a very warm bronzer but on my light/medium skin tone it made me look like I'd just been on holiday and caught the sun. It's so smooth on the skin and easy to blend.

The Balm - Bahama Mama Bronzer
This bronzer is more on the cool side and definitely does not have any orangey undertones. It is the darkest out of the bronzers that I am going to mention but even with my light/medium skin tone I can still pull this off - I just literally need the smallest amount on my brush and I'm good to go. I think because this is darker than some of my other bronzers I do have to be more careful on application just because I don't want to overboard but in saying that it blends out really nicely and it doesn't skip or cling on to any places on my skin.

Bourjois - Bronzing Powder 52
I love the brand Bourjois and I think they sell some really amazing products so I just had to try out this bronzer. Now you can just get the bronzer on it's own or I believe they do a duo where you have the bronzer and a highlight. At a glance I can see that this powder does have little flecks of glitter throughout, which I don't mind because sometimes using a lot of matte products can leave your skin looking a little flat. The bronzer claims to smell of chocolate and I'm not totally sure that I get that when I take a sniff although I can't help but compare to the scent of the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. It is a nice smell nonetheless. I have to build the colour up when using this since it does go on quite sheer and I find that I can struggle slightly if I haven't set my foundation with a powder. It sometimes looks like it skips little sections of my skin. But when I've set my face before hand and gone a little heavy handed in the pan this bronzer has a really nice natural colour. Looks like I've just been on holiday and my skin looks healthy.
