How To Get Motivated & Be Organised! | 2019

Hello my loves!

Today I thought I would share with you some of my top tips on how to get motivated and be organised!

Write lists
Now I'm definitely one of those people that can't live without using some kind of list on a daily basis to help me organise my life! I will admit that I mostly use my phone as it's generally something that I have on me most of the time. I hate days where I'm not really sure what I want to do so I feel like writing a list really helps me stay focused and makes sure I get all the things done that I need to. I'm not sure about other phones but I know on iPhones you can have a checklist in the note section and it gives me a really good feeling when I've ticked something off!

Invest in a planner
Investing in a good planner is another way you can really help yourself get motivated and organised. For 2019 I have purchased the Law Of Attraction Daily Planner which whilst on the more expensive side is really great. You have a monthly overview and weekly so you can write down everything you need. The planner encourages you to aim high to achieve the things you want and I just find it so motivating just looking at it. I will say the planner will make much more sense if you are familiar with the book called The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. Of course there are lots of different alternatives ranging in price so I'm sure you will be able to find a planner to suit you!

Make time for the thing you love and enjoy
Now trust me I know that life can get really busy but it's important sometimes to take some time out of all the things you need to do and spend some time doing the things you want to do. It's really refreshing to just stop worrying for a evening about the cleaning or whatever it may be and read a book or play a video game or whatever you like! I always find taking some time out really helps me to feel more relaxed and I'm able to get focused again much easier. Rome wasn't built in a day!

Set breaks and don't overload yourself
Going back to making lists and things like that it's also really important to remember that it is not the end of the world if you don't get everything done. I usually like to prioritise all the things I need to do in a day so I nearly always get my important things done. But don't stress yourself or write lists that are too long. You will just end up feeling overwhelmed and not wanting to do anything at all. Most things can be done another day and you should be realistic because the chances are your not going to get a 100 things done in one day and that's okay!

Schedule things
I also find it really good to set specific days to do things like for me I always try to change my bed and have a bit of a room and house tidy on a Monday. Obviously it might not happen every single week but I try as much as I can and I just find it helps me keep track of everything. I have animals as well so I try to clean them on a weekly schedule so it just helps me keep on top of everything. There's nothing worse than trying to get everything sorted in one day and then just having everything build up.

Don't be afraid to ask for help!
My last little tip is to not be afraid to ask for help. I know it can be hard to stay on top of things sometimes so if you have people around you make sure you ask them for some help if you need it. When you have a hand from someone it usually gets things done so much quicker and I find it can be nice having the company as well!
