My Top Favourite Nude Lip Products

Hey guys!!

Today I am going to be talking about my favourite lip products and why I love them so much...

MAC Lipstick - Hue
This was one of the first high-end lipsticks that I ever brought and I think it's because at that time I was just seeing it all over the internet everywhere! So this a very pale nude colour - think of like foundation lips almost.. But because the formula is a Glaze finish it means that it is pretty sheer and glossy. The lasting time isn't amazing because it is so glossy but it's one of those lipsticks that are just really easy to apply without a mirror and you don't have to worry about it looking messy. Mac describes this colour as a 'soft pale pink'.

LA Splash Lip Couture - OG Ghoulish
This is a great liquid lipstick if you love the kind of 'grey beige' lips. I think with the right lipliner the colour can be toned down but on it's own it is very grey toned. For me it's a different kind of colour to wear but I still feel really comfortable in it and I think it compliments my skin tone. I love the formula of these liquid lipsticks since they apply really easily and dry matte but without leaving your lips ultra dry feeling.

MAC Lipstick - Faux
This is literally like my all time favourite nude lipstick, it's like a pinky brown and I just think this lipstick would look great on a variety of different skin tones. The formula of the lipstick is a Satin which is probably my favourite formula that MAC does since it has great lasting power but doesn't dry out your lips as much as a matte lipstick does and it fades nicely instead of flaking off or anything funky like that. MAC describes this shade as being a 'muted mauve-pink'.

Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick - 630 Velvet Beige
I would describe this colour as being very similar to MAC's Velvet Teddy. It's a gorgeous warm brown lipstick which has a nice creamy formula but still pretty long lasting on the lips. This is a really affordable lipstick and it would look great on a bunch of different skin tones.

MAC Lipstick - Honeylove
This lipstick is a slightly lighter nude. If you are someone that thinks that you can't pull off Velvet Teddy then this lipstick is a couple of shades lighter. This is a matte formula so I would recommend exfoliating and moisturising your lips before you apply this since it can really cling to any dry patches on the lips. I think this colour will be best suited for those that have a fair complexion. MAC describes this as being a 'light beige toned with rose'.

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick - Celebrity Skin
I absolutely love the formula of these liquid lipsticks. They go on really smooth and light but the colour is very opaque and when it drys it doesn't feel heavy or uncomfortable on the lips. I actually find it quit moisturising considering it does dry extremely matte looking. It is transfer proof and long lasting and doesn't make your lips stick together like some other liquid lipsticks. The shade itself it a very wearable nude and is described as being a 'soft brown nude with a peachy undertone'.

NYX Lip Lingerie Lipstick - Push Up
I have around 6 of these liquid lipsticks and this shade is by far my favourite. It's a very natural nude brown. I love the formula of these liquid lipsticks although they can be quite sheer so I recommend applying a couple of coats so the colour is more intense. I find this comfortable on the lip although it can become slightly sticky and I think they last a decent amount of time on the lips. There are so many different colours in the range so there is something for everyone.

Menow Waterproof Lipstick - 18
So this liquid lipstick is actually found on eBay so please make sure you are careful just because we don't always know what is in makeup that is sold on eBay! With all that being said this is a great liquid lipstick for the price! I have heard that the shade 18 is a dupe for Limecrime's Cashmere? I'm not entirely sure since I do not own that lip product from them. I find that it lasts a really long time on the lips although it is very sticky when you put your lips together and if you eat it can start like flaking off. This shade is like a pinky mauve.

MAC Lip Pencil - Soar
I have to mention this lip pencil since it is probably the shade I would use in conjunction with all of the products I've mentioned above. I can't wear lipsticks without generally having some sort of lip liner on first. I find applying this helps lipsticks not to bleed and helps them last longer because it almost acts as like a primer for my lips. This also looks great on it's own. MAC describes this as a 'mid-tone pinkish brown'.
