Anti Haul #3 | Products I Won't Be Buying

Hey guys!

Back at it again with another anti haul, these are some of the products that I have seen floating about on the internet and I'm just not interested in purchasing them.

Anastasia Beverly Hills - Subculture Eyeshadow Palette
So when I first saw the sneak peaks of this palette I have to be totally honest I was just not interested and pretty much already knew I was not going to be picking up the palette. I'm a warm toned girl and the colours in this palette didn't really appeal to me. That being said it's refreshing to see a brand come away from all the warm tones because even though I love them I feel like there are so many companies coming out with a warm toned palette at the minute. I love the Modern Renaissance palette so I did assume that this was going to be up to the same standards as that but after seeing some reviews online I am definitely not impressed! It's like the colours won't blend properly and the amount of product that kicks up when people were putting their brushes into a shadow was ridiculous so I will not be picking up this palette.

KKW Contour Kit
I have very similar opinions on this as I did with Kylie Cosmetics and that is as much as I think Kim Kardashian does some great things and she is obviously very successful I'm just not really into her enough to purchase this kit. I like the idea but I don't think it's anything out of this world and the price is I believe $48 and shipping is around $14. I live in the UK so it becomes pretty expensive just to get the kit to me! It looks as though you hardly get any product as well and I honestly just can't with the price. If it was a little bit more affordable and if it was easier to get hold of then maybe I'd try it out but for now I think I will not be picking this up.

Jaclyn Hill X Morphe Eyeshadow Palette
This might come as a slight shock to some people because so many people love Morphe. Now don't get me wrong I love Morphe's brushes but I haven't actually tried any of their eyeshadows and I just don't quite know why. I have a few of the BH Cosmetics eyeshadow palettes and I feel like they are very similar. I know they are a very affordable brand so in the future i will have to try them out but the palette they have done with Jaclyn Hill just hasn't caught my eye. I feel as though I have similar shades in different palettes. I really enjoy watching some of Jaclyn's videos and it's great that she has had the opportunity to do this but I am not a crazy fan girl so just judging the palette by itself I will not be picking this up.

Laura Geller - Diamond Dust Highlighter
I feel really bad talking about this because I love Laura Geller and I love the Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators but as I've said before I'm just really not in to different coloured funky highlighters and this to me looks exactly that. I believe it is one of those duo chrome types of highlighters and these just never seem to really complement my skin tone. I love pinky shades but I do prefer my highlighter to be more on the silver/champagne/gold side. Sometimes a pink shade can look as though I went a bit crazy with some blush and other times it can look almost ashy on me if that makes sense? Like I said I love the Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators, literally some of my favourite highlighters but I probably will not be picking up this shade.

Too Faced White Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette
I've always longed for a white Chocolate Bar palette from Too Faced but when I envisioned it in my mind I thought of lots of light frosty colours and maybe some reds and warm browns to be kind of like a raspberry ripple or something like that but I've recently seen a picture of this on Instagram and I've got to be honest I don't know what to think. There are random pops of colour that I don't really see how they fit in with the palette and I don't think I would use those colours. I loved the other Chocolate Bar palettes because of how easy to use they were and the fact they were more on the natural side. I can't see myself wearing green eyeshadow on the regular. Until I see reviews and swatches on this I don't think I can really make my real decision but based on the picture released I can't see myself bending over backwards for this palette.

Thanks for taking the time to read;
