Trying Out Ebay False Lashes | 2018

Hey loves!

Today I want to share with you my experience with false lashes from eBay. I wear false lashes pretty much every single time I do my makeup. I feel like once you start wearing lashes you can't stop! But I usually will wear the Ardell Demi Wispies because I like that they have a thin band and they look really natural. Well as natural as false lashes can look!!

Aimei Lashes
To start with you get 5 sets of lashes if you decide to pick this set up, which is great if you wear lashes on the regular because you'll know how easy it is to get through them! When I saw these online I loved how they looked and the style was slightly different to my usual preference. But when I saw these in person I pretty much knew they would be a no go for me. They are really really thick, like I couldn't even get them to stick on my eyelid because they wouldn't curve, they just stayed straight. I do prefer lashes with a thin band so maybe if you are a pro at applying lashes with a thicker band you might be able to make these work for you but I also struggled with being able to tell which lash was meant for which eye. They didn't seem to taper down at either end so I can only imagine if you do actually get these to stick on your eyelid they probably won't blend in all too well. Overall I personally would not recommend these which is a shame because they are a decent price!

Vivi's Collection Lashes
Now these lashes pleasantly surprised me! They look great. Mine had a lot of glue holding the lash to the packaging so you do have to be careful you don't brake them as you're trying to pull them off and then I did have to go in with tweezers to remove the leftover residue on the actual lash. I did also find the band sort of extended beyond where the hair was if that makes any sense, but I do have to cut my lashes to size anyway so that didn't bother me. I think these look really natural on and if you make sure to cut off the excess band then I also found them really comfy. They stayed on well and didn't try  to peel of at the edges so I'm generally really pleased. 5/5 for affordable lashes!

Red Cherry Lashes #43
Now these lashes had a slight advantage over the others purely because I have previously tried Red Cherry lashes before although I had never tried this specific style. I found them really easy to remove from the packaging and I actually didn't have to trim them which was great although if you have a longer eyelid area them maybe these might be a bit short? They nicely taper so they look very natural on and they also look fluttery. When I've tried other lashes from Red Cherry I always seem to find that they last a good few uses as well so you definitely get your moneys worth!

Mink 3D Lashes
So I think I might be the only person that hasn't tried Mink lashes but honestly I can't get over how expensive they are for a single set from popular brands so I've never really looked any further. Anyway I found these on eBay and was of course a little bit sceptical because of how affordable they were. Now I will add I don't actually know if these lashes are actually Mink but for the price they look pretty damn good! Definitely not my usual style as the are a lot thicker and the band is definitely thicker although unlike the ones I mentioned earlier I could get these on with ease. I would suggest wearing some eyeliner though since because the band is thicker they are harder to blend but I really enjoyed these lashes, I had to shorten mine quite a bit so I'm pretty certain these will fit any eye. I wish they tapered down slightly more because I think they would look a bit more natural but if you want to try some thick wispy lashes then take a look at these!

Primalash
The last lashes that I am going to talk about are again a totally steal in terms of price and I thought they looked quite natural via the online pictures. When it actually came to me seeing these lashes in person and trying them on I was just wasn't impressed, for starters the lashes I received didn't look like they were cut very neatly. They honestly look like someone just cut them with scissors so when I actually tried these on they just looked so uneven. Also in person the way the lashes crossed over each other just looked really obvious and I just didn't like the way they looked. I will say they are a great length because I don't really have a lot of room from my lash line to my eyebrow so some eyelashes just look way too long on me so I did really like the length but I don't think these will be replacing my Ardell Demi Wispies.
