Favourite Drugstore Liquid Highlighters/Illuminators | 2018

Hey loves!

Today I thought I would just share with you some of my favourite liquid highlighters/illuminators.

Revolution Liquid Highlighters
I've spoken about these highlighters before so I won't go into too much detail but when these were released I was so interested so I picked them up like straight away and honestly they have probably become like my favourite liquid highlighters of all time. They have a good selection of shades and they suit a variety of different skin tones. They have a more glittery one which is called 'Unicorn Elixir' which I have but that one isn't really my style, but it would look great for a festival or something like that. I like to apply these after I've applied my foundation and powder and I use a stippling brush or a beauty sponge to blend. If you are looking for an affordable great liquid highlighter then I highly recommend trying out these.

Maybelline Master Strobing Liquid
This is another great highlighter that I love but I do use this a different way than the one I use above. I like using this before I apply my foundation so it's more like a illuminating primer. I still find I have to use a normal primer because it doesn't really smooth any pores out or anything like that but it helps a foundation not look quite so flat. With dry skin a product like this is great because it helps the skin look more hydrated.

Seventeen Skin Wow Primer
As the name suggests I use this liquid highlighter as a base before I apply my foundation. I think when you apply a liquid highlighter in this way it makes your foundation look so much more luminous. There is also a darker shade called Seventeen Instant Glow Skin Wow Tan which would suit darker skin tones or someone that just wants to add a bit of a bronzy glow. You could also mix these in with your foundation to make it look more intense but I love how these make my skin look and they are so affordable.

L'oreal Infallible Foundation Primer
This is another product that I love to use underneath my foundation. It has a really lovely sheen to it and makes the skin look so glowly but it doesn't effect the coverage of foundation you are wearing and it gets a little tacky on the skin so I feel like it does actually help with foundation lasting a little bit longer.
