Makeup Haul

Hey loves

Today I'm going to be sharing with you some of my recent makeup purchases..

Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighters
- Unicorn Elixir
- Starlight
- Rose Gold
- Champagne

I'm not going to talk too much about these because I did a whole entire post reviewing them but these were the products I was most excited to try. Literally the minute they arrived at my house I was diving in! They are really comparable to the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops and I absolutely love them. They leave you looking very glowy but also natural at the same time. They don't accentuate my pores or any texture on my skin and they stay on my face all day. There are 7 shades in the collection.

£6.00 - superdrug.com

Loreal Infallible Matte Foundation
I'm not usually into matte foundations since I have dry skin and I find they usually cling on to some dry patches and really show up some textures I didn't even know I had, but I've been seeing this foundation about a lot and I finally decided to give it a go and it's great! It drys down well but leaves my skin looking smooth. I always use a moisturiser and a illuminating primer under all my foundations so that might have helped not to make my skin look so flat. I love having dewy skin and wearing dewy foundations but if you don't always have a powder with you they can have a tendency to start slipping and sliding. With this foundation I was able to look dewy in the parts that I wanted to but other areas of my face were not moving.

£8.99 - superdrug.com

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
This was a repurchase for me and I seriously can not get enough of this concealer, I can try others and really enjoy them but I always end up coming back to this. The coverage is great and it covers up my dark circles but it doesn't crease underneath my eye and it also makes my under eyes look very smooth. I use the lightest shade under my eyes and I believe they also now do colour correcting shades although I haven't tried them yet.

Price
£4.19 - superdrug.com

Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer
I am yet to try this concealer but I've always loved and repurchased the Healthy Mix foundation so I have high hopes for this!

Price
£7.99 - boots.com

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
Another repurchase. My tried and true powder and I seriously think I will always repurchase this because it's honestly my favourite. The only downside to me is the packaging since I always seem to break the lid but the product inside is gold.

Price
£3.99 - superdrug.com

Rimmel Match Perfection Powder
This is a loose powder that I use to set my under eye concealer and I absolutely love it. It helps to smooth out my under eye area and it keeps them looking matte all day. I picked up the shade translucent.

Price
£6.99 - superdrug.com

Maybelline Colossal Waterproof Mascara
On picking this up I actually wasn't aware that I had chosen the waterproof version which was a bit of a bummer since I usually don't like waterproof mascaras. I felt like changing my mascara routine up because since I basically wear false lashes every time I decide to wear makeup I generally use the same mascara over and over again but before falsies I used to love packing on the mascara to have the nice thick spider lashes. How will this mascara do I wonder..

Price
£6.99 - superdrug.com

Duo Eyelash Glue
Best. Eyelash. Glue. Ever. Enough said, I will always repurchase this. I also love the brush on version to have when I'm on the go.

Price
£5.47 - superdrug.com

Makeup Academy Undress Your Skin Highlighters
- Gold Scintillation
- Radiant Cashmere

I really want to do a review of all the shades of this highlighter from MUA. I had 3 previously so I now have 5 so watch this space lol! The other shades that I have are more on the lighter side so I wanted to try some of their different shades. I don't know how well these will work on my skin tone but seriously these highlighters are stunning. I find they have a bit of a overspray or something when you first swatch them but if you dig your brush in a little bit more they are really pigmented and give ABH a run for their money!

Price
£3.00 - superdrug.com

Technic Face and Body Shimmer Spray
This is a bit of a fun product but who doesn't like to shimmer and glow? It reminds me of the things you'd use as a kid from Claires or wherever. I will probably not use this on my face but on the body it looks gorgeous. It has a slight fragrance so if you have sensitive skin you could get some irritation.

Price
£3/£4 - ebay.co.uk/amazon.co.uk

W7 Power Puff Sponge
So this is basically a Beauty Blender but waaay cheaper. I love the Beauty Blender and also the Real Techniques Sponge but I do struggle to keep them looking new and clean, mine always seemed to get stained and I end up having to repurchase so I don't look like a filthy cow lol! So when I saw these I thought I'd give them ago. I find them to be slightly harder than a Beauty Blender but to be totally honest it does about the same things and for the price I can't complain. They do suck up quite a bit of product but then I think every makeup sponge does!

Price
£2/£3 - ebay.co.uk
