April Favourites | 2018

Hey loves!

Today I am going to be sharing the products I have been loving for the month of April!

Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask
I've mentioned this a couple of times in my blog before but in the UK we recently had some seriously nice weather so I thought I would bring out this tissue mask. I love this mask because it's really cooling on the face and it's really hydrating and leaves my skin feeling so soft after using it. They are on offer a fair bit in stores so I usually wait to pick them up when they are on offer so if you are looking for a affordable great tissue mask then I highly recommend trying this one out! They have a few different types to suit different skin types and skin issues.

Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist
Since I struggle with dry skin I am always on the hunt for products that will help moisturise and hydrate my skin without causing me to have any breakouts. I've been using this mist by Pixi for a little minute and I love the way it leaves my skin feeling all soft. I find sprays/mists to be really useful because they are really quick to apply and I can apply the product before I put on my foundation and other face makeup and it makes everything look so smooth and hydrated and helps to stop any products clinging on to any dry patches.

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel
So this bronzer is pretty expensive but I think it is totally worth it! I've had this for a while and I love using it when the weather gets hotter because I find in the hot weather I don't always want to wear a full face of makeup and I think this adds a lovely natural colour to the face without being heavy. It can look great if you love a dewy natural finish to the skin and if paired with a light foundation and maybe a little concealer it is great for a no makeup makeup look!

Ofra 'Feelin' Myself' Highlighter Palette
I have been really wanting to try Ofra highlighters for the longest time but I've never been quite sure what shade would work best for my skin tone since there isn't any stores around me where I can see the highlighters in person. So when I came across this trio on Beauty Bay I knew I needed to try it out. In this set you get 3 highlighters that are the shades; Blissful, Pillow Talk and Rodeo Drive. I can honestly not tell you why I didn't try these sooner because Ofra highlighters are stunning! Again this trio is great because it gives you the opportunity to try a selection of different shades without you having to purchase a full size individual. I love Blissful and Rodeo Drive and when I use these up I will definitely be picking up the full sizes! These are ultra pigmented and give you a gorgeous glow but it isn't glittery and if applied with a light had can look really natural.

Morphe 35B Eyeshadow Palette
This month I finally bit the bullet and picked up my first ever Morphe palette! I don't know why I didn't pick one up sooner because the colours are gorgeous and the shades blend really well. I picked up this colourful palette because I already own a bunch of neutral palettes and I feel like my colourful palette collection is lacking. I really want to include some colour looks on my Youtube channel and before I had this palette I would of had to search hard for the shades I wanted and I would be dipping into like 10 different palettes and I think that can be hard to follow so I'm excited to be able to share looks that are all from one palette! These shadows perform just a good as my high end eyeshadow palettes except you get way more shades for you money.

Mac Lip Pencil 'Stripdown'
I love myself a good lip pencil and some of my all time favourites are from MAC. For the month of April I have been loving the shade 'Stripdown'. MAC describes this as being a 'creamy brown beige' and I just think this lip liner is so universal in the sense it can be paired with so many different lipsticks. MAC lip pencils last a really long time on the lips and they are easy to apply and comfortable to wear even on their own.

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick 'Celebrity Skin'
I love liquid lipstick because of the lasting power and the fact that they typically don't transfer on to anything and Jeffree Star's Velour Liquid Lipsticks are one of my favourite formulas. They are very light weight but ultra pigmented and they wear for a really long time but they are also comfortable on the lips. I can even pull these off when I have dry lips because the formula doesn't cling on to every bit of texture on my lips which is great because I have dry lips like all the time. The shade 'Celebrity Skin' is a great shade for my skin tone and it looks really natural so I have been wearing this for all different types of occasions throughout April.
